Nick Pope :: Charges Filed and some questions are asked…

on

So, as I logged into WordPress today I noted that the blog was getting a lot of spectators from The Washington Spectator, which has a piece focusing on the current UFO/UAP movements in the US. As part of that article, Pope’s credentials are called into question. It seems that not only have charges been filled against Pope under “consumer fraud” but there is a really interesting email exchange where the articles author drills down into the truth behind Pope’s claims of being head of a “UFO Project”, among his other bogus claims. Pope is very careful with his wording as well as attempting some slight-of-hand with the usual links he trots out that he believes answers his critics. Pope, again, talks of forged documents, of “nuts” and tries to divert attention from the matter at hand. However, Pope doesn’t come out of it looking too good. It whiffs of “grifter”.

Also referenced in the email exchange is Kal Korff’s report and charges against Pope that form part of a legal framework. It is very interesting reading.

Also, as part of the email exchange there is a link to James Easton’s dossier on Pope. It covers a lot of the ground I have previously covered, and it is great to see others challenging the Pope narrative. And with good reason, as Pope is essentially muddying the waters for serious UFO researchers.

So, here is where I am at the moment. I have a lot of people coming out of the woodwork with information and I am sifting through that for its relevancy, and anything useful I will add into this document. But for now, here is what I have collated as part of the effort to get Pope’s claims seen for what they are: bogus.
